Calgary Before and After School Care – Helping Kids Find Their Path
School age children are more independent and are learning society’s social manners. At Lynnwood Learning Centre, our before and after school care program in Calgary offers a play-based program. It includes a mix of exploration, guided and independent activities, quiet times and outdoor play. By providing group club activities and more complicated programs, our centre aims to provide an environment where children feel accepted and cared for.
At this stage learning through play looks differently as children begin their exploration into social norms and their individual roles in society. To help encourage the children’s development we aim to provide a program that is centred around the children’s interests but with diversity to allow for enriched and open-ended activities that supplement their development. Every child is unique and we consider every student’s individual needs. Whether it’s a quiet place to read, help with homework, or fun interaction with other children, our centre is a great place for kids to begin and end their day.
